Career Fair Expo

Career Fair Expo is an exciting event open to high school students in Santa Clara County who are exploring careers in the Building Trades.  The event, which is held at various Apprenticeship Training Centers, gives students a “hands-on” experience of what it is like to work in a skilled trade.  Students also gain apprenticeship information, network with skilled professionals, and become familiar with construction and related programs at various colleges.  This annual event is sponsored by the South Bay Apprenticeship Association.

Project Exhibition

This annual event recognizes outstanding achievement in individual and team projects that are focused on building and construction, safety, architectural design, civil, mechanical, or structural engineering, construction management, landscaping, city and regional planning and development, technology in construction, and other fields related to the construction industry.

Virtual Design and Construction

Virtual Design and Construction not only prepares students for college and a career, it also cultivates critical thinkers, collaborative leaders, and conscious citizens.  Through dual enrollment, participants not only gain early access to college-level coursework, they also accelerate their journey to a degree and enter the workforce sooner, with stronger credentials and confidence.  Combining industry skills with social justice inquiry and real-world application, students emerge from this experience equipped with the tools, language, and confidence to shape the future of the built environment – ethically, sustainably, and creatively.
